The Mature Years - Exhibition Design

One of the things I promise myself this month is to blog on my interests in exhibition designing and construction. In my days with the BDA, I was entrusted to handle a couple of exhibition projects. After I left BDA, I continued to be involved as a contractor to design exhibitions for Petronas in Bintulu . Furthermore when I opened a craft shop in Bintulu at a shophouse my company bought, I designed and constructed two levels of the shoplot . The first floor was made into a cybercafe and the ground floor for my craft shop called "Vaie Kraf". The top floor was designed as my office.
This month I'll try to put out more pictures of the trade exhibitions I participated as well as shop designs I did .

Introduction to BeingMY.....3rd Edition

My earlier experiences have taught me a lesson. If you are to remain 'permanent' on Blogger, open up a Google account!

Thus my latest migration is to a new site called Being My....3rd Ed.

I just hope that with this new arrangement, I will have no more problems with signing in to Blogger Dashboard and to carrying on with the normal activities of blogging.

Just late last month, when I decided on this migration, I instantly got on with a new template and customising features to enable me to blog in double time.

Thus on the first available opportunity I had after so many weeks of inactivity, I decided to round up my tribute to Othman Borhan. I therefore highlighted his paintings that I bumped into during my last visit to Kuching, which was over the Chinese New Year holidays.

I am now ready , this 2008 to continue with blogging my life story.

Othman Borhan in Private Collection (Part 1)

After I finished blogging on " Tribute to Othman Borhan" in December 2007, I decided to hunt around in Kuching for a few more of his works. Guess what have I found?

Othman Borhan, Acrylic, Untitled, 120 x150 cm, 1989. Private collection, Kuching, Sarawak.

Othman Borhan, Water colour, Untitled, 60x80 cm, 1989, Private collection, Kuching, Sarawak.
The above paintings are kept by the immediate family of Othman Borhan, presently residing at Kampung Gersik, Kuching, Sarawak.
